Your wisdom tooth pain comes and goes.
However it does not mean you can leave them alone.
Such makeshift leads to more serious dental infections for you.
There are some patients who pass over their pain with pain killers and this in turn causes further damage to their teeth and more extensive dental treatment as a result.

Yes, sedation is very popular for wisdom teeth extractions and we offer sedation IV for all dental treatments including tooth extractions.
Dr Dilek will make a pre-sedation assessment before having the treatment done under sedation IV.
No worries :)
You will feel only a slight scratch as the anaesthetic is being made.
Following the anaesthetic, you will feel no pain while Dr Dilek is taking your wisdom tooth out.

Once your tooth is removed, there will a hole in your bone and this hole is called a socket.
Actually this is a very good healing process. Because a blood clot will form in this area in order to protect your bone and nerves underneath.
In the event that this clot of blood aggravates or dislodges, it will cause an infection in your bone and nerves which will be exposed to fluids, air, food, etc. and eventually to a dry socket. And this will cause pain, bad taste in your mouth, and bad breath.
No worries. Dry socket is quite common following extraction of wisdom teeth.
If you have dry socket, we will put the medicine in your dry socket and you will get rid of the dry socket.
Yes you can work just the next day.
However, in the event that any swelling or bruising occurs, we recommend our patients to rest the next day following the extraction.
